TITLE: Technical Sales Manager

PACKAGE: £42-50K Basic (dependent on experience), c+£10-12K OTE, Expensed company car (e.g. BMW 3series), healthcare, pension scheme (contribution), lunch allowance, 25 days holiday, excellent package

Established for nearly 30 years in the UK, with our client is a leading European manufacturer with an enviable reputation within performance timber protective coatings, wood treatments and finishes. Following 3 years of consistently high levels of growth and a record revenue/profit performance in 2014, they are now looking to recruit an additional experienced Technical Sales Manager.

Midlands / North West of the UK (M6 corridor). Field based sales role (ideal locations – West Midlands, Birmingham, Cannock, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, North West, Chester, Manchester, Liverpool, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Cheshire)

SELLING: High performance protective timber coatings, timber finishes, stains, paints, wood treatments, lacquers and varnishes.
SELLING TO: Timber and joinery manufacturers, window and door manufacturers, manufacturing end users.

The Technical Sales Manager role is a field based sales position selling our client’s range of exterior timber and joinery coating products.
The development of new business within the exterior joinery coatings market alongside account management of existing timber and joinery manufacturing customers (including some key accounts).
A consultative sell involving the generation of relationships at all levels from factory production to Commercial Director within prospect accounts.
The Technical Sales Manager role entails responsibility for all aspects of the sales process: pipeline development, customer presentations, product and solution selling, conducting practical product demonstrations within customer factories, price and contract negotiation and ongoing customer relationships and development.

For the Technical Sales Manager role our client is looking for:
-A demonstrable track record selling a related joinery or joinery coatings market product.
-Experience managing end users, technical or manufacturing customers.
-A structured and autonomous approach.
-A desire to be a productive part of an exciting growing field sales team.
