TITLE: Technical Business Development Manager
PACKAGE: £35-40K Basic, 7K OTE, expensed car, pension, healthcare, laptop/mobile

SELLING: An outstanding range of bespoke materials and components (used in a wide range of manufacturing applications)
SELLING TO : Automotive manufacturers, Aerospace, Industrial manufacturers

TERRITORY:
National sales role, field-based but focusing on the Midlands (M4 up to M62 ideally as a home location e.g. Reading, Swindon, Slough, Luton, Oxford, Stevenage, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Worcester, Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield, Leeds, Stoke on Trent, Manchester, Merseyside, or close).

ROLE:
The Technical Business Development Manager role is a field based sales role involving account management and development of existing high spend accounts (£3m+ turnover).
Alongside that identifying high spend target accounts within strategic target markets.
The Business Development Manager role involves identifying customer need and selling a tailored product solutions.
The role tends to be a longer term solution sell, requiring communication with internal technical and product development teams.

PERSON NEEDED:
For the Technical Business Development Manager role our client is happy to offer excellent product training, but does need:
– Experience selling a product into manufacturers, OEMs or engineering customers
– A mix of both commercial ability and confidence in selling a performance product.
– Strong communication and team skills.
