*NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – ANY PRODUCT – TO DEVELOP HIGH SPEND BUYING GROUPS WITHIN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY*

TITLE: National Account Manager (leading UK manufacturer)

PACKAGE: £50-53K Basic, £8K OTE/bonuses, Audi, Pension, laptop/mobile/iPad, 25 days holiday, exec package

TERRITORY:
National field based sales and account management role. Our client is looking for candidates based centrally, with good motorway access.

SELLING: A superb range of branded interior DIY products
SELLING TO: Account managing established high spend national buying groups / buying group accounts

THE ROLE:
National Account Manager role:
-Taking responsibility for the management and development of key high spend trade buying groups.
-Setting the UK sales strategy and targets to defend and grow the business.
-Identifying strategic opportunities to deliver that growth.
-Analysis of customer sales performance, tracking trends using in-house Salesforce CRM.
-Collaborative work with other national accounts and key accounts teams.
-Working alongside the marketing function on exiting and new product image and brand.
-Dotted-line communication and direction with an experienced team of BDMs.

PERSON NEEDED:
For the National Account Manager role no product experience is required, but our client is looking for:
-Experience selling at national account or key account level within either a trade of retail key account.
-An understanding of national account sales processes and strategy.
-Prior exposure to the construction, building industry, DIY or KBB sector.
-An understanding of buying groups within the UK building industry
-A clear focus on career and personal development.
