TITLE: AREA SALES MANAGER (leading UK manufacturer)

PACKAGE: £30K – £36k Basic, £10K OTE/bonuses, Car, Pension, Bupa, laptop/mobile/iPad, 25 days holiday, exec package

TERRITORY:
National field based sales and account management role. Our client is looking for candidates with good motorway access.

SELLING: A leading household brand named product
SELLING TO: Account managing a small portfolio of existing high-spend national retail and online retail customers.

THE ROLE:
Area Sales Manager role:
-Taking responsibility for the management and development of key high spend retail accounts
-Setting the UK corporate sales strategy and targets to defend and grow the business.
-Identifying strategic opportunities to deliver that growth.
-Working closely with a Senior NAM
-Analysis of customer sales performance, tracking trends using in-house CRM.
-Collaborative work with other national accounts and key accounts teams.
-Working alongside the marketing function on exiting and new product image and brand.

PERSON NEEDED:
For the Area Sales Manager role no product experience is required, but your experience must include
-Experience selling at national account or key account level within a retail key account.
-Coming from a structured FMCG background
-Degree educated
-A corporate, entrepreneurial and professional approach to sales.
-A clear focus on career and personal development.
