JOB TITLE: Area Account Manager

SELLING: Corporate supplies

SELLING TO: Corporate end users in a wide number of markets including construction, engineering and facilities management.

TERRITORY: Lincoln, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire

PACKAGE: £28-35K Basic (dependent on experience), + £8K OTE (paid monthly), pension, mobile/laptop, expensed car, excellent wider package

THE JOB ROLE:
-The Area Account Manager role is a field based sales role representing a prestigious UK market leader.
-Selling a huge portfolio of industrial and construction consumables
-Fully supported by your senior manager and office team, you are responsible for both defending existing contract relationships, but most importantly generating new business.
-Target customers and projects will be of a high value so a professional and consultative approach is essential.
-The Area Account Manager role will see you targeted on both revenue and a KPI’s.
-A full training programme will be provided upon your successful employment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
-Demonstrate a successful background in field sales and business development.
-Ideally coming from a commodity based sales but my client is open
-Have good structure and professional autonomy to bring to the role.
-Be positive, competitive and results-driven.
