TITLE: Technical Support Engineer (Electrical)
PACKAGE: £35-40K Basic, 3K Bonus in yr1, pension, personal healthcare, 25 days holiday
LOCATION: Hayes, Middlesex office – professional office environment (occasional customer site visits). Commutable from London, South East, Slough, Uxbridge, Watford, Hayes, High Wycombe, Reading, Bracknell, Epsom, Berkshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex areas or close.
Our client is a global manufacturer within the electrical products, security and smart home sector. Currently enjoying a period of continued success and growth they are looking to add to their internal UK technical support team.
The Technical Support Engineer role is an office based position that includes:
-Working as part of a team of experience tech support people.
-Daily contact with professional customers and 3rd parties including contractors, developers, architects and end clients.
-Use of clear communication to question and understand.
-Analysing problems and issues and creating / communicating solutions.
-Identifying opportunities for the company to add value to (improve) the customer process.
-Occasional visits to customer sites.
**The role comes with excellent training development and team support.
THE PERSON NEEDED:
For the Technical Support Engineer role out client is looking for:
-Prior technical experience working with electrical products – ideally hands-on – installing, repairing or analysis.
-The ability to analyse a problem and create a solution.
-Good clear professional communication skills.
